The Meriwest Community Foundation has awarded $1,000 Financial Education Recognition Awards to two outstanding PARTI Program youth—Samantha and Eyoel—in celebration of their commitment to leadership, community service, and financial literacy.
This recognition highlights the shared mission between Meriwest Community Foundation and PARTI Program to empower youth through education, workforce readiness, and responsible money management.

Looking ahead, PARTI’s goal for 2026 is to expand this opportunity by providing 10 student ambassadors with $1,000 each in Financial Education Awards—helping them build a strong foundation for future financial independence and success.

The PARTI Program (Positive Alternative Recreation Teambuilding Impact) is an organization dedicated to promoting youth healthy lifestyles and decision-making. Established in 2000, it aims to provide activities that build racial equity, safety, culture, and wellness among youth. Our goal is to create a seamless network of services that address academic needs, positive social connection to peers and caring adults, concern for personal and physical health, removal of barriers to employment, financial literacy, character development, service to community, and access to education/vocation institutions.
1.High Impact: Life Skills and character development sessions that meets weekly at participating schools that are dealing with high issues of violence, bullying, and poor school morale.
2. Leadership/Mentorship: Workforce readiness, service, and civic engagement program. We focus on leadership opportunities and building financial literacy skills. PARTI offers stipend, seasonal jobs and pathways for participants to S.T.E.M, Health, and Entrepreneurship Careers.
3. Fusion/Arts: Fusion provides opportunities for youth to perform in the community and participants engage in other artistic and cultural traditions. Fusion provides avenues for participants to explore Digital Arts, Event and Music Production.
4.Health/ Wellness: We support youth with self-care, reflection, and socio-emotional wellness.

PARTI's 2025 Focus: Our youth-centered approach is designed to address social justice, health disparities, and access to economic equity for youth in Santa Clara, Alameda, San Mateo, and Los Angeles Counties, as well as the Central Valley and Central Coast regions. Our purpose is to increase job readiness, educational achievement, and civic engagement through programs, activities, multi-industry partnerships, and youth-led initiatives that support safety net services and promote mental wellness.
