"During distance learning, there were numerous times where I felt unmotivated and unhappy with my friendships and school life. PARTI had this inclusive environment... I was able to create a plan moving forward to manage all of the different things I was balancing in my life."

OUR WORK

Our Core Programs

 High Impact:

We target locations that are dealing with high issues of violence, bullying, and poor school morale. We empower youth to stay out of trouble and become contributors to their school and community through interactive activities, curriculum, and engagement.

Phase 1: Focuses on character (social-emotional) development.

Phase 2: Focuses on life skills and college/career readiness.

Phase 3: Focuses on community asset connections and employability preparation.

Leadership/Mentorship

We connect youth with leadership classes and volunteer opportunities that focus on addressing core youth issues which include increased self-esteem and confidence and increased connections to caring adults.

Through partnerships with civic, corporate, and community supporters, we have developed a program that works with young people and addresses important areas:

Social: Young people find their voice, take action, and make an impact on community issues.

Business Savvy: Building 21st century career development skills.

Communication: Placing youth in cross functional business roles with actual budget to produce and lead service projects to address community needs, reinforces the need of developing interpersonal, small group, and timely communication.

 Fusion

The target population is low-income youth, and the Fusion Program teaches various forms of performing arts such as Stepping (a form of African Dance), Polynesian Dance, Spoken Word, Hip Hop Dance, etc. The Fusion Program allows them to perform in the community and offers them ways to engage in other artistic and cultural traditions. We provide novice and advance performing groups and avenues for participants to explore Digital Arts, Event and Music Production.

Health and Wellness

Young people co-lead wellness activities that promote mental health, behavioral well-being, physical movement, and self-care. They develop service projects aimed at tackling health disparities, while participants gain access to opportunities to explore careers across different industries.

Participants create and volunteer in sporting and fitness events that foster community building and youth equity. Types of program services include tobacco and drug prevention, infectious disease prevention, and intersectionality of environmental and climate advocacy.
